It takes experience to get it right, everyone needs to be 100% on the same page or you could lose some friends ……… or your partner 
Seems that you have a lot to lose if it goes wrong. Certainly not something we would consider within our group of friends.

I have, and we had a lot of fun! Providing the communication is great between all of you it can work really well. I’m no longer in that relationship (due to reasons unrelated to the threesomes) but I’d welcome the opportunity again.
