Viagra

I assume you have to complete a medical questionnaire. @hornyhotwife50

Possibly a silly question but what about a light(er) meal, like a sandwich etc? Curious to try when wee have a weekend away and taking it say 30mins before lunch might work best into the timedrame for us.

My husband has done Viagra once or twice to try it and it works very well but prefers Cialis as it lasts longer, usually 2-3 days of effect. He gets turned very easily when he has taken it, just brushing against him or him watching porn for a minute and he’s very hard and horny for ages  He also notices he is really hard in the morning and in the night if he wakes up.

is that the one you can get in tablet form and gel?

How long does it last in your system after taking the 50mg viagra? Does it still work 12-24hrs later or is it just a few hours?

It varies person to person but for me 50mg lasts 3 or 4 hours.

I was sort of hoping it would last 12hrs so I can keep going the following day. let’s see what happens, tonight.

I believe there’s a daily dose you can take that’s prescribed by your GP as well as creams, @Wood-Nymph’s husband was on such are routine until recently and still maybe is.

He prescribed me the normal 50mg pill. Only gave me 4 and can’t get more for 4 weeks. I’ll be needing more than that.

The statistical average of once a week. I understand your plight @Mr.MrsW

Hubby was the same after the checks were ok. The gp prescribed the basic dose of 50mg and only gave him 4. They actually did nothing for him, he persevered for a few months then went to a specialist who tried him on the injections (not for the faint hearted), they did not work then the cream and that didnt work and eventually the daily dose of tadadafil, which takes time to build up in the system. Its been a year now since it started and we are only now getting back to a sort of workable solution. Hope you have success and keep persevering with it.

Im Happy for you that you found something that has eventually worked for you. The last year or so must have been very stressful for you both, and put a lot of pressure on your relationship.

I’m only struggling to maintain an erection due to medication. I don’t want to change my meds as they’re finally working for me. The last 6 months has been tough. Although my OH was very understanding, she’s supported me throughout. I had to have tests and checks done before the GP would even prescribe me some. However now I know they work, I don’t mind buying more over the counter.

I finally maintained it from start to finish tonight, That’s all we wanted.

My husband is diabetic and he was told it is the cause of the ed. I also think it was made worse because he felt that he could not satisfy me he thought i would get fed up and look elsewhere, but actually it made our sex life better in the long run as we introduced toys and spent more time in getting it too work like using cock rings and penis pumps and tried to make things fun to reduce the pressure on him to perform.

Viagra was only a minor help for us. Switched to Cialis and found it genuinely continues to work for the next day, sometimes longer.

Also, since using it H will often wake up the next morning with a hard on, that hadn’t happened for a few years.

The ones that hubby takes now are a prescribed daily combination of the two. No headaches, red face or blurred vision and he gets morning wood now. Still doesnt get quite as long as he used to but he seems more girthy now, which is taking a bit of getting used to.
Can i ask did he get himself checked out by his gp first before taking it as i know ed can be the first sign of heart problems.

Yes, the whole process has been through the GP who had been very good. Now he’s found what works he orders via an online GP as no more expensive and easier than getting via GP - if you get into see a GP, most are great but unfortunately everything else regarding the surgery is appalling.

I have noticed he’s girthier too, particularly at the base :smiling_cat_with_heart_eyes:

Exactly the same at the base as well, hubby put it down to his previous use in the first 8 months of a penis pump so its interesting to hear its the same for your hubby as well. As hubby is diabetic and over 60 he gets it free on prescription.
