Watching on TV true murder docs?

It’s true that money and power talk and it is genuinely frightening.

I’m fascinated by all the true crime programmes and the ones that have interviews with serial killers and investigate them and stuff.

I think I watched cold case files if that’s the one on Netflix, if not it’s something very similar

I’ve got the Des one recorded but not had a chance to watch yet . I’ve heard there’s some pretty unpleasant detail in it.

I watched Des, and i read the book by the guy in it, in the 90’s. It goes into more detail. Often the books do. The Fred and Rose West book “Happy Like Murderers” revealed so much more, to the point i was re-reading sentences, because i couldn’t believe what i was reading.

I like watching them to get an insight into the mentality of the killers, and the possible causes of their mental state. Nature or nurture?

@WillC I like to watch them to compare what I have in common lol that’s a joke by the way or is it ?

I love true crime. I’ve watched all of them on Netflix and I watch a lot of it on YouTube, too.

Both my wife and I love watching them. There was one on either earlier in the year or last on BBC about Jim Jones. That had my wife in tears but also anger. I’ll try remember the name of it.
The Yorkshire Ripper one on BBC last year was very good as well.

I haven’t seen that one but I like watching crime solving TV programmes, as long as the focus is on the investigation. I’m not a fan of TV shows that make a spectacle of the crime, family grief or psychological background. I just like the finding clues parts.

Oh there certainly is, pretty gruesome but no glossing over what happened

Ooh haven’t heard about that one @Gazza_64… Which channel is it on?

I absolutely love true crime docs, but also any dramas that are based around crime etc. The psychological side of it is just fascinating!
