What are you currently doing? (Archive Oct 2019 - Apr 2022)

Weather is lovely here today but that also means I’ve no excuse for not getting on with tidying the garden :grimacing: Although personally I like to see a swathe of buttercups and daises in the long grass, seems a shame to mow over them!

@wildflower Don’t mow! or only mow enough to sit down.
I have loads buttercups and daisies.
(and washing on the line so gone back to bed with a cuppa tea)

Sowing some basil here later

Haha maybe you could come round and tell my OH that! @Melody1 He thinks the garden looks untidy but I love the natural look. Walking through the soft long grass and little flowers with bare feet in the warm sun feels bliss!

I hung the washing out barefoot. I have so many types of long grass too, some of it really pretty. Stripey lawns are so overrated in the modern save the planet world, but better at least than digging it all up and replacing with gravel or concrete

@SteelA1 I’m not seeing results yet, I say that but I have noticed the tiniest of changes in my arms this morning. Not so bingo-wing like! I’m owning it
Yep, I’m in it for me and ME alone. I couldn’t give two hoots what others think. I just want to tone up for me.
I’m working out 3-5 times a week. I would do more but work (I work in a school) and hubby’s work (he commutes 2.5hrs to London (each way!) 4 times a week- be it days/nights/weekends etc), 3 autistic children, a close family member with early onset Alzheimer’s (diagnosed before the age of 56) and a whole host of pets to sort out means I have very little “me time”. So I make the most of what I do have!

I’m just starting to look into a weights bench- what a mind boggling task that can be :laughing:

Well done to you for doing morning and night  I absolutely love the burn!! Makes it all worth while in my opinion. Love pushing myself too. Previously I would have waited to increase weight or change exercises but my PT is amazing and so encouraging that I feel comfortable and confident enough to do these things myself.

What’s your favourite type of workout? I love lifting weights :weight_lifting_woman:
