I might have to amend my measurements in that case and add a bit on. I’ve always just measured the base without any pushing in with the ruler to note my modest 5". Oh and I’ve always been a bit fat too.
Maybe I should start saying 5 1/2" now

This is always such an interesting question and most of the time you can never get a real answer because most people don’t know how to measure properly, and so many people over exaggerate the answer.
It’s known that average size is approx. 5.5 inches and yet almost everyone seems to be well above that. A 7 inch cock is not common, anything larger is rarer than a rare Pokémon. I’m not saying that they aren’t there, but I’m quite sure they aren’t as prolific as people say they are.

The only anecdote I can quote to back you up from personal experience is that my good friend always said his wife thought he had a large penis and measured him at 7" I always said you are a lucky guy, I am only 5" but my partner is happy enough.
Last year things ended up that we were actually comparing penises and erections (I know) and low and behold he was amazed that I was exactly the same as him.
He was a bit taken aback as I am 5’6" and he is about 6’2" and better built. He even though I was more girthy too 
Guess who was measuring properly, and who was measuring underneath then… Gotcha !

Samamtha here. Most guys measure it wrong. Its hopeful measuring lol. Myself and a friend used to pick up guys for sex on tinder. The amount of guys that would tell us they were 8" and then it would turn out like 5 or 6. A few would still insist that they were big and i did tell some that actually they were average.
I went back on tinder 5 years ago after a long term break up and the 4 fwb i found were all between 7 and 9". My long term partner now is 8". They do exist
