Which Wand Next?

Hey all

I’m looking for a new wand for my wife, if anyone has any recommendations that fit the following requirements:

  1. Waterproof
  2. only speed/intensity controls - she doesn’t like varying patterns
  3. not a huge head
  4. USB charge

We have the LH plug in, but it’s not waterproof or even splashproof (not great for a squirter) and a couple of smaller ones, which she loves but it has three speeds then goes to patterns. She just wants faster and harder but when you accidentally press it one more Up it goes to patterns and throws her right off the big O. (That can be fun or a nuisance)

Cheers in advance

I think you might struggle to find one without patterns, they seem to be a standard feature

I love my Mantric wand, never use the patterns.

Good luck in your search!

I agree with @MsSubExperimenter. Finding a wand without patterns will be difficult with the specs you want. If you go onto the website and search wand, you can set the search in the filters for waterproof (submersible) and theres a good range there

I’m always in agreement with @MsSubExperimenter on this one. I love my Mantric Wand (I have the previous version with the lights on the side but I think the vibes and functions are the same).

However, as she said, there is constant strengths and then patterns and it is easy to overshoot if you’re changing the strength and hit the wrong button. From this point of view you might be better with the We-vibe Wand 2. It still has patterns but if you use the app to control it you can use the full range of strengths without any fear of venturing into a pattern. Actually, this is easy from the controls on the wand itself since you can select constant and then it’s different buttons to up the intensity, if you overshoot on the pattern you can click back.

Both the Mantric and the We-vibe Wand 2 are fully waterproof and USB rechargeable. The Wand 2 has a significantly larger head and rumblier vibrations (though I personally prefer the vibes of the Mantric, they are not buzzy and for me, are more penetrating).

I do like app controlled toys, but using your phone with lubey hands can be annoying.

For the Mantric one, I see on the photos there are three buttons, are they:

Power & mode
Speed up
Speed down

I can’t find anywhere that says.

I understand patterns are fun for some but my wife finds them such a…..buzz-kill (pun fully intended).

Maybe the We-Vibe wand2

Not tried this but although it has patterns you can set your own so could just be constant and variable power. Seems to tick all the other requirements and we love the Wevibe toys we do have

I agree with you on the patterns.
I find that they kill my orgasms too.
Continual speeds with no patterns would be ideal.

I love this , it’s waterproof, small ish head, usb.

It does have patterns but I only ever use the first 3 settings which are constant but varying power.

Another vote for mantric wand, it’s easily our most used toy. Has different patterns but has option just stay on constant if you don’t change mode.

@CraigW , you are absolutely right, I misspoke. The controls are different to the other Mantric toys I have. Power button in the middle, press and hold to turn on, press a second time to activate the vibrations. Intensity up and down on the top and bottom buttons so actually, yes, just get the Mantric and don’t go beyond the first press. I have accidentally hit the middle button when wanting to change strength but it is easier not to do this than on the other Mantric toys.

Correct.
Not super rumbly but worth a try.

The we-vibe wands (original or new version 2) are good too. The original has a joystick control to increase decrease power, cant be confused with the pattern switch button.
Very rumbly and great range of speeds. Bigger than mantric though

I love the power wheel style of the LH plug in, it’s just not waterproof and now (after it has made multiple messes) the motor smells a bit when it runs. Makes it a nightmare to clean as well, since you can’t just give it a good old wash under the tap.

Thanks everyone for your input! Mantric is in the shopping basket!

Not sure if it’s been answered elsewhere but is it me or is the LH classic wand horrendously noisy? We love the power but rarely use it as we really don’t want our teenage kids asking lol. Are there any wands that are just as powerful but much quieter?
