I wouldn't order a corset by your back size. Some corsets are done by back size, like the dream girl corsets... but these are real corsets as they won't pull in your waist as they are made with plastic boning rather than steel. If you order a real corset, I tend to go a few inches below my waist size. As I have a size 24 inch wait this means I will order a size 22" or 20" corset, depending on the number of steel bones and how much I want to take my waist in. Corsets tend to allow room for the bust due to how the boning is shaped, and unless you have a very big sized bust compared to waist the corset will be able to squeeze your boobs in and form a nice shape.
I have a few 24 inch waist corsets which close completely on me due to my waist being 24 inches, they also close completely around the top of my bust... this doesn't mean I have a 24 inch bust, it's just how corsets are shaped to only reduce the waist and allow room for the breasts and hips.
LH doesn't actually sell any real corsets, they only sell bustiers and basques, which are based on your clothing size or actual wait and bust size. I think Hella was taking measurements of all the ones on LH and you should be able to find sizes for the bust and waist in the descriptions.
Thank you agree if wanted a real corset i would hunt out someone to taylor make one i am refering to the range of stuff sold on this site that clearly have cups in them for boobs but don't state how big a boob would they would facilitate. and rightly or wrongly are described as corsets i was just using the names of the ranges sold here. something as simple as the cup sizes would hold cups a-c d-f g-h would be all it required. I have big boobs there is a big difference between the biggest part of my boobs and my rib cage. If you gonna sell products with cups in them make it easy to work out if it would fit

Which items do you have your eye on? I'm sure the stuff will be happy to help you work out which will be best for you, and they probably will be able to go check measurements etc (I've asked before and they are very quick).
Its the tone of some of the comments and I was just using the descriptions from LH website for some of there items of clothing and instead of reading what i wanted i was lectured at as if i was stupid. clearly you need to be more direct or clearer in what you want to know. shame as never found people so rude before! Equally pleased as there are nice indiviuals too! ;)

It was a basque corset item i have one currently brought from bravissimo but have changed bust and inch size since so its now well uncomfortable but the ones they have are either brial virginal (yawn) or one boring black job. just had a big birthday i just wanted something sexy lot of the undies on LH must just be for sex and not day to day function as ell as sex. i have to say i really didn't write my request at the beginning very well!

More frustrated the forum has never seemed to have the tone of some of those women i don't do beig spoken to like that in any part of my life. guess it didn't really help that i worded the introduction badly! c'est la vie you always get a few intresting people but the good always out number the bad! x
Judging from your response to my post earlier, I gather I'm one of the women whose 'tone' you took exception to. My post is a single line and a link to a thread in which Hella and Alice explain some of the difficulties and what they've done to work around it - including measuring each style and size of one range by hand because its sizing is inconsistent.
These are problems with the manufacturers. There's only so much that retailers can do to compensate, especially generalist sellers like LH. As usual though, the staff go the extra mile with what they can do.
I was really struggling with chronic illness that day so I let the thread speak for itself; Hella said it far better than I possibly could and Alice's post suggested a range with more complete size charts. I had no idea that would be taken so badly. My intention was simply to point out LH's efforts and bring a thread I'd found interesting to your attention.
I've asked my OH whether she would like a basques/corsets/bustiers but she's not that keen as she doesn't think they are meant for her because she has a big bust (G). Having read the threads to this forum I'm thinking that this isn't necessarily true?
I think she'd look great in one but does anyone have any suggestions how I might approach this in a different way. Some advise would be much appreciated.

I don't think anyone was intending to be rude, they where giving the correct advice for fitting a corset, you didn't initially specify you where talking about the one's with cups. I'm sure anyone who though they had offended you whould be upset that they had because the people here are nice helpful folk.
The actual BASQUES which have cups, such as this one http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=3336 Do give bra sizes, I would assume that those without a bra size are intended to fit like a corset not a bra, in which case the bones would mould to your individual shape, and the fit can be adjusted by the lace in the back. When you have a big difference between your bust measurement and your back/ waist measurement I would recommend a steel boned corset as when the plastic bones mold they tend to just bend under the weight of a larger breast. You can get fully steel boned corsets from as little as £25. I find corset boulevard good http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CORSETS-BOULEVARD-LTD . As others have said, buy something 2/4 inches below your natural waist size (I'd recommend 2 to start). As they are fastened with two laces you can have the top looser so it fits your boobs and waist snuggly.

Camo, as in army print? If you're looking for a steel corset, playgirl corsets do a few nice ones, underbust and overbust. I know Lh stocked a few from there range before, but they didn't sell well. I've got about 6 different ones by them, that I picked up in sales etc, they are expensive at full price, but are worth it.
Fet life have a few people who make custom corsets, though most people make them for themselves. To make a good one, it takes a bit of time, and the fabric can be expensive. There're so many different types of corset (patterns, etc) that you probably will be able to find something similar to what you want, rather than having to pay loads for a custom one. I think most people make/ buy custom ones more for the fit and size.
