Make sure your wife actually wants to do blow jobs. Don’t force her to do anything she doesn’t want to do!
Now that we got out of the way, with my wife she kinda just got use to it over time. She wanted to see me happy, knew BJs were something I liked, and did them. She only went with and as far as what she was comfortable with and was in charge of the blow job.
She kinda just mentally learned to stop that gag reflex overtime with practice (much like you probably don’t gag as much when you brush your teeth as you did before).

Guess it first needs to be something she’s willing to want to improve on as some people just don’t like to give them and that’s ok 
but if she is looking to try improve on her tolerance then I’d maybe suggest practicing with a dildo perhaps as well as considering trimming any long pubic hair so she don’t get any caught in her mouth

If she’s struggling with BJs at first don’t go straight into asking her to swallow or take it in her mouth.
You could come out and cum somewhere else using your hand or hers.

First off, I think it’s vitally important that nothing is forced. Not everyone enjoys giving a BJ, just like not everyone likes beetroot!

I have a sensitive gag reflex too, my OH doesn’t mind and never forces me to give them but I know he enjoys it when I do.
