After a round trip of 120 miles after doing some errands for my sick mother we arrived at the town center pub of our home town that we frequent for dining out on a Saturday night .We were both semi smartly dressed as we normally are when we dine out. My Mrs wore a Black Faux Leather pencil skirt with white blouse and myself a jeans and blazer combination.
All seemed to be going well as the steaks we ordered were spot on for once ! 
My Mrs had noticed that the guy from another couple from a few tables away and kept eying her up . Without me turning around and making it obvious , she described him as wearing all black as was and had longish blonde hair. He was sat with a female companion also dessed in black . Probably in their 40s and so younger than us . So he was probably a rocker I was thinking going out for a night in smartish "civies" .
Anyway I have got used to my Mrs having a bee in in her bonnet of these type of things because she is an attactive woman at end of the day .
As tiime went on I was coming back from the Gents having a conversation with this other guy about the availability of cask ales in other pubs in our area. We had stopped walking and carried on our conversation approx 2 yeards away from the foot of the stairs. This guy who had been eying up the Mrs decided to cut through us instead of around us but did say "Please Excuse me and thanks " I noticed that he had quite a thick masculine silver chain around his neck with a silver cross hanging from it .The guy I was in conversation with comment that was weird as he could have easlily and more easier to go around us as there was only empty space on either side. So I didn't think any more about and returned to the table were my Mrs was getting more nervous by the minute . She said again that he kept looking over and she kept denying him eye contact and that his partner was watching me . So I thought I would make a trip to the bar and asked my Mrs descretely to see what happens. Apparently the ,Mysterious female partner followed evey move I made to the bar .
My Mrs was by this time getting rather worried as they were making it obvious that they had us under scrutiny so we decided to drink up and move onto our next pub slighly earlier then envisaged .
At this time of the year with Holloween just around the corner the mind and imagination starts working overtime . I wouldn't go as far as being strapped naked to an alter being offered for sacrifce but perhaps a couple in swinging looking out for another couple to join them .
