I think they’re in their late 50s too! 
Not sure when they had the op though but it must have been a few years back from how they’ve spoken about it…
Reckon the adjustment of having had foreskin all their life to then not and like you say having to relearn how to mentally come to terms with it, took quite the negative impact on them and how they saw themselves…
