Can anybody please suggest a butt plug that can be worn during the day for a novice. My partner loves toys in her bum and would like to try a plug to work. We do not own any. JBx
Not trying to sound preachy, but if she doesn't even own a plug she definitely shouldn't be trying to wear one all day as soon as she gets one. It's something she will really have to build up to, not to mention she'll need to have bathroom breaks every half hour at least (depending on her body) to re apply lube etc. Lots of practising wearing it around the house before going all day at work.
As for what plug, I mean what toys has she tried?
Good things to look for in a plug for longer term wear...a 'lollipop' shape (ie bulbous head and thin neck), a t-bar base as some people find round bases can chafe, light weight (ie not a steel rosebud lol)...I don't really know, the rest depends on what she has tried/what exactly she wants out of it. I personally find glass or aluminium plugs more comfortable as they don't feel like they dry out as much as silicone or other ones do (though you should still keep it nice and lubed up).

I know it says 'large' but honestly, I wouldn't trust the base size on the small version. Not if you intend to wear it for long periods. You don't want it to 'travel'.
This one is also very comfortable as the base flexes nicely and you barely feel it is there, important if you're sitting down/shifting in your seat etc:

Can't link because I'm on my phone, but the Doc Johnson Mood Naughty (long name!) are very comfortable - the t-bar base sits right between the cheeks, they're super comfortable, the silicone's smooth and the sizes are on the smaller side. The base is a bit long though and can block access to the vagina, just an fyi.
The only issue with long-term wear is that if you're using a water-based lube the lube can get gradually absorbed and you might need to reapply; using an oil-based lube like coconut oil or Yes oil-based can help alleviate this as it's quite slippy.

Oops, forgot to add - if you choose to use an oil-based lube, make sure you only use it with silicone/metal/wood/glass/ceramic toys and not rubber or jelly or latex; apparently this can speed up degradation of the toy, much like oil does to latex condoms.

Does anyone have any tips for wearing a plug long term, as I find it uncomfortable to sit down with one in, walking around and everything else is fine just sitting down is sightly uncomfortable.

yes its a great price especially as its now in the sale and is made from silicone. I really couldn't recommend it highly enough, its really comfortable and the juggling ball is a nice reminder that your wearing it as it adds to the sensation.
I like wearing mine during sex as you can feel the ball moving about.
I like it so much I'm planning on buying the medium and large while they are in the sale. :)
