Is there an opt out option for those of us who donāt wish to be, you know, studied? 
Consensual studies are the only allowed way to get grants I believe.

The planes would be 2-7 seater electric short haul planes or personal planes

So itās Ā£100 for a taster test flight and up to Ā£240 for an 90 minutes of flight time with a chance to take o troll of the plane.
Ā£500 for your the first 3 lessons of flight school. This is to train you in light aircraft, it doesnāt give you access to being a Top Gun or joining the Mike high club in private.
But I would get to see if I have any fear of heights .
