I have one! I've mainly done similar things to what you just described but I also managed to to make a sort of modified hip/waist harness from rope that keeps it in place; a bit like a rope strap-on harness but minus the strap-on bit.

My favourite way I've tried was with the hook attached to my collar by a chain behind my back and the collar was attached to the wall by a hook. My partner then used a vibe on me so as I wriggled from that, I'd give myself a nice little shock with the anal hook, which would increase my wriggling and jerking, which would pull on the hook....you get the idea.
The other way I've used it that stands out in my memory was being on my knees with it tied to my hair and giving him oral sex but with him not moving so every time I moved the hook tugged.

We use ours in much the same way you have mentioned, if you're into breath play you could also put a loose noose around her neck, forces her to keep her head up / back depending on how tight you make it. Be careful of course with this sort of thing, and always keep sheers handy should you need them.
