Hello ,

I am going to try anal sex again with my boyfriend. I've got a butt plug which we used our normal chemist brand of lube. But found the lube was too thin for anal.

I had looked at durex perfect glide as it had no parabens and no glycerin but it's got mixed reviews. Maximus has got parabens but I liked the idea of it not spreading germs. Love honey anal lube seemed good but to be honest im overthinking so im just in a boggle as there is so many to choose from.

I'd appreciate some recommendations of which lube is good as I really want anal to go well.

Love maximus for anal, I tried the love honey anal lube but found out I was allergic to the aloe vera in it so it burned me x

I found Maximus really stung but Liquid Silk (which is from the same company) was fine. I like to use Liquid Silk with some extra silicone in the form of Pjur Original (there is already some silicone in Liquid Silk). The silicone makes it last longer and the LS is very slippy and helps insertion better than silicone on its own.

I use the Lovehoney anal lube and have had no problems with it. I find its thick and long lasting. It says its being discontinued which is a shame but they've still got stock at the moment.

Before you have anal remember to have a warm bath and strech the area with your fingers, no lube can prepare you for the pain otherwise

I only use Sliquid products because I have sensitive skin. They make a special anal range like NatandTom posted but I found that even their standard one is thick enough for anal.x

I used to get £10 worth of items to get the free postage. its a shame it's over £20 as that was what led me to buying chemist brand lube. It was good lube but not for anal.

The best lube I've found so far without breaking the budget is the Love Honey Anal Lube. Nice and thick and it lasts, I'm quite a fan.

Only down side I've found whenever I've got some on my pussy area, it can sting ever so slightly for a few minutes.
