This is my first time posting but need advice from those in the community who engage in Anal sex.
I am a 48 year old woman and in the last couple of years really embraced Anal sex.
My husband and I go through periods were we don't do anal for a few months and then we get back into it no issues. Y
esterday we got back into it, although I would mention that my husband got quite carried away and thrusted quite hard before cumming into condom. I did ache for the remainder of the day and I particularly felt it at night, the embarrassment bit is during the night whilst asleep I started weeing, I managed to wake before wetting the bed and went to the toilet to clean up.
This has never happened before and I don't have a weak bladder, I don't have a urine infection so am worrying if this is going to happen again.
My husband doesn't feel it was anal sex that caused this but I feel it has.
Apologies for long winded post but would appreciate any advice or comments.
Hi, firstly please don't feel too embarrassed (easier said than done I know), sometimes our bodies do things we don't don't like but can't help
Secondly, I (personally) would chalk it up to a one off and try not to worry about it. Could have just been that the anal sex was quite rough and your muscles have tightened up afterwards and when you have gone to sleep everything has relaxed again causing this lapse in bladder control? As long as I wasn't in pain or felt as though something was wrong - only you know your own body. If it happened a second time or I developed any other symptoms I would seek medical advice.
That being said, this is what I would do and I am in no way qualified to give you medical advice. If you are worried about it or concerned in anyway that something else was the cause then get yourself to the doctor and go through it with them. Theres no need to be embarrassed with them- they will have seen it all and more - but if you feel it was the anal sex that caused it you'll need to be honest with your doc.
I hope you get sorted and this was simply a one off
It's possible that your husband's vigorous thrusting has bruised you a bit internally and that in turn has resulted in a little numbness which meant that you didn't feel the normal sensation of wanting to pee and that's why the onset of the peeing occurred unexpectedly.
I personally wouldn't worry unduly about it as long as it doesn't continue ( if it does then a drs visit might be appropriate)as you've stated you've never had a bladder problem before .
Think next time you might just have to remind your hubby to go a bit more gently.
Hope this has helped a bit :)
I wouldn't worry, the soreness is normal if you haven't partaken in a long time. Despite the frequent warnings associated with anal sex there isn't a lot of damage a penis is going to cause anything back there. The bladder does recieve quite a lot of stimulation during anal and peeing during is pretty normal. If the incontinence continues then see your GP/gyno but it is quite likely to be a one off related to weeakness or tiredness of the bladder muscles.
Thank you for replies, I feel calmer about it now, given that I haven't experienced a weak bladder before if it continues I will see a G.P. Fingers crossed it is just a one off, hubby advised to be gentle in future
Put it down to a one off, however if it continues perhaps ask your doctor, they won't judge you in any way?
On a different note, after using my very large butt plugs I sometimes find it hard to pee for a couple of hours.
