For public use I personally will wear briefs so that if anything bad does happen the toy will be caught. Lube applicators as previously mentioned are just amazing as they can easily be carried in a bag and are quick to apply. I can also suggest a tip that someone on another topic suggested for public plug use and that is to carry a ziplock bag with you in case something goes badly and you need to take the toy out for the day you can seal the smell in the bag and protect it from dirtying other items. Definitely go slow and warm up to wearing a toy all day as you don't want to do any damage! Hope that helps you a bit!
