Been away for a long time.
Just wondered if there will be an animal toy range in the near future as I know many other sites sell them..
something different and more exotic to try..
What's your thoughts?

Well, to be honest - it's not something I could ever see stocking for a few reasons:
1) Lovehoney have to consider how well an item is likely to sell before stocking - and yes, whilst there are a few 'specialist' sites that make and stock these, i'm not sure it's something that has MASS appeal like regular dildos and vibrators.
2) these items tend to me bigger and heavier, therefore taking up far more warehouse space.
3) Most manufacturers/stockists seem to be american - this comes with all sorts of additional import/duty/taxes etc which means Lovehoney will have to charge you more to cover the cost, or they lose money - and if they don't sell......
I could be completely wrong but that's my take on it.
Personally, I have no interest in anything like that.
Search for 'tail' and there are a couple of pony ttails and a puppy tail. But it's not an extensive range
Tbh, and im not judging anyone, but i would be put off buying from a site that sold items like that and im sure there would be others who wouldnt feel comfortable especially if that was one of the first things they found on the site.
The animal based toys tend to be sold on websites that cater exclusively to that market, not on general adult sites, though LH does sell a good range of items aimed at pony play, puppy play and a nice selection of wearable tails if you want to go down that route. It's not likely LH will ever be stocking the moulded animal genitals though if they are what you were refering to, I believe they said somewhere that they wouldn't stock a certain brand that revolves around dragons. Way too many issues!

They have some amazing textures inside them, or on them in the case of the dildos, so just thinking of them as toys they look awesome! But then they're packaged and advertised with awful, low quality furry fan art (basically animal/human crosses) and quotes about sex with animals and suddenly the whole thing feels...off. Though honestly, if my partner had a fantasy about having sex with a doberman I'd rather he took the vastly more innocent route of purchasing a doberman masturbator than actually went and...well, commited a crime. Not that he does, but some people do.

They're run completely seperately as companies, so despite being under the LH group I'm not sure if they are still technically competing for business? No big deal anyway, if it's not allowed the mods will just remove the link :)
