I have been exploring and enjoying female lingerie etc for a while now, and surprised myself with how far I have gone. However, bras have not really featured. I can certainly see the appeal but I think that I have avoided them due to the difficulty of getting the fitting right.
As an alternative I have bought camisole type tops and bralettes. I particularly like the latter, one of which is featured on my current profile picture. Generally they are non-wired and, being padded, they give a nice shape.
However I realise that bras are an important and exciting aspect of female attire so, having come this far, I feel that I definitely should give them a try. I have therefore started to look and, as with everything else, it will be trial and error to find something suitable. Nevertheless, like all my other explorations of female lingerie etc, it will undoubtedly be an exciting process.
Light blue bra and panties with red stockings and suspenders, finished off with a red baby doll and black rope around my wrists and ankles waiting for my OH. Going to be a fun morning for both of us but more so for me
I do wear it sometimes, but I am aware that it only looks hot on me in my eyes. When I see other guys post their photos on lingerie section it kinda makes me
i dont find it nice to look at all and Iām aware other guys probably wouldnt like my photos either..
SOmetimes I take a picture of myself, in the mirror it looks hot then on camera I look at it and delete it.
I do wonder in another life if I was a woman Iād probably be a complete slut wearing all the sexiest clothes. probably get off looking at myself in the mirror. Womans bodies are just naturally a billion times visually appealing than a guys.
Side by side, A mans body is like a ford transit. A womans body is like a classic jaguar f type. Theres no contest on whose better to look at.
@DefinatelyBi try sharing your lingerie pics here sure itās nerve wracking that first time but itās a complexly non judgmental space and you might be surprised by the feedback itās also a very liberating experience to post here
Maybe you can show off to me on skype - you have a nice bum. Iām more of a viewer than a peformer - maybe I can be swayed. posting myself on linngerie doesnt do anything for me.
Bralettes and non-fitted lingerie are a great option for men. Iāve got a couple.
But I also do like the feel of wearing a proper bra. Sometimes I just accept it wonāt fit properly, but then Iāve also found some brands (and a leading U.K. clothing store is particularly good at this) go to quite large chest sizes but still with small cups so with a bit of measuring, a good fit for the male form is achievable.
Not sure I could actually bring myself to go for a bra fitting. Ok, so itās 2025 and everyone should be allowed to express themselves as they like but I feel lingerie fitting is still a distinctly female reserve and me personally, I feel itās a step too far. I go for ordering online and collecting in store to avoid any awkwardness on either side.
I feel much the same a lot of the time. I think I look hot and I have got a few things that fit really well but yeahā¦.then reality hits and I sometimes think I just look typically freakish and the self-consciousness kicks in. But do I wear lingerie to look good or feel good? Bit of both really so even if Iām not looking sensational (which is rare) I always feel good so I consider that a win.
And is it because Iām wearing lingerie intended for a woman or is it simply because I could be in better shape anyway? I think even for women itās a struggle sometimes to match the looks of models on a website, doubly so for a guy as thereās the added challenge of trying to make underwear fit that was designed for a totally different body shape.
I recently got a full basque which is marvellous as it hides a LOT!
Thanks for the suggestion about bra fittings @chuckychester35. I have enjoyed reading about your various exploits in other posts with regard to this but, like @marbles1, I think that this might be a step too far for me at the moment. It is only relatively recently that I have begun to browse in the lingerie sections of high street stores without too much embarrassment! Having said that, as I mentioned in my post, I have been surprised about how far I have come in my lingerie explorations so I wonāt rule it out completely.
As we know, the whole process of exploring female lingerie from start to finish is very exciting, and this would just be another aspect of it. So we will seeā¦ā¦..
In the meantime I will never tire in stating how pleasing it is that lingerie, in all itās many aspects, can provide such a great deal of pleasure to men as well as to women.
I just wanted to make a similar point to that made by @marbles1. It is true that men generally will not look as good in lingerie as women for many reasons, the main one being that it is designed for women and men are obviously shaped differently. Like you @DefinatelyBi, I undoubtedly do not look great in the lingerie I choose to wear from an objective point of view and possibly even ridiculous!
However, I think for me this misses the point about why I choose to wear it. I am not doing so for anyone elses benefit. I do so for my own pleasure and enjoyment, it gives me a thrill and no doubt this is true for others and presumably you?
Incidentally, you mention that it is possible to get lingerie designed for men which is obviously a good thing. I would say though that this would miss the added excitement that wearing female lingerie can provide. I love the idea of sharing in the pleasure of wearing lingerie that women also wear to feel sexy and I write this sitting in bed wearing a bright red lacy baby doll!!
Agreed. āMale lingerieā just doesnāt illicit the same excitement. Thereās definitely something about wearing garments designed specifically for the female form.
I know I look daft in female lingerie, but it feels so exciting. Like @marbles1 I canāt put my finger on it, but it just feels so sensual Iām lucky in the way my OH goes along with it, she always makes the most appreciative sounds and says how good I look
Thatās one of the reasons I prefer female lingerie but I also like the lack of the āpouch in the knickers. The flat front keeps my gaff in place and keeps everything tucked down properly.
Backstoryā¦.wife knows Iām into lingerie. Iām still doubtful of her full acceptance. Whenever I order something new I try it on alone before wearing for her.
Last night I pulled out an entire set of mostly new stuff. Suspender stockings, thong, underbust corset. It was obvious I had tried them on. She asked if I had already tried them on and I confirmed.
I instantly felt embarrassed and ashamed like I had done something wrong. Right away I was worrying about what she was thinkingā¦
She looked at me and asked āWhy didnāt you send me a picture? Could have got me all hot and bothered all dayā
Iām one lucky guy. We surprise each other now with new lingerie to wear. Added bonus, we are just about the same size!
