I've been. I don't know for sure of any secluded spots given I went with my dad!! However, the sand dunes at Maspalomas (not sure if that's spelt right) have quite a reputation, but I think it's for guys!
Just hire a lil Jeep and head for the hills, but make sure you wear your seatbelt, them gravel tracks are scary!!
