Anyone else got an awkward bra size?

I tend to fit a 34F, 34FF or 34G bra depending upon the style and brand but LH seems so limited for bras for me :( They have one or two in these sizes but no where near as much range as there is for smaller sizes. Any awkward size sisters here?

fellow tiny boob lady here, MysticalMayhem! 30A and they're not even particularly perky >:(

I'm a 42DD & I don't think they even so bras close to that size. I have recently bought a bra in a size 22-24 & that fits quite nicely but it would be nice to pick something that has cup sizes instead.

i am in between cup sizes so ti can be a nightmare...

38C which isn't mainstream nor specialist enough for places that cater to bigger sizes 😧

me. 34FF in the main, bought 36G recently. I never know if bra will fit before trying it on & can scarcely buy a bra from M&S for love nor money. really no hope in getting something to fit from lovehoney...

it's a bit of a pain.

I currently squeeze into either a 38C (band is usually tight and can cut in causing wounds) or a 40B with no underwiring (the left cup will gape).

My right breast is a rounded, full C, whilst my left is barely even a B and is less full and a little more, triangular for want of a better description.

As used work shoes pointed out, neither of those sizes is easy to find, as most in store regular lines only go up to a 36 back size, or those that do have bigger back size lines tend to start at a D cup.

Wired cups drive me insane, the size and volume difference mean im forever pulling the left cup back in to place and it distorts all my tops, but puts strain on the left cup wire which eventually bursts through to stab me and often come out completely in the washer.

Being a germophobe i can only wear them for one day then its in the wash, so i need at least 7 bras to allow for wear between wash loads, they generally only last me about a year what with all the washing and pulling to re adjust and i could never afford 1 let alone 7 custom made ones to fit my poor mismatched boobies.

The best bra i've ever owned was a playtex size 38 B 1/2, sadly can't find another.

Recent weight loss, gravity and breastfeeding have transformed my best assests in ways that make me sad !!! Bras are a nightmare last year I wore a 38 DD/E and now a 32 God knows !! I am constantly searching for a bra which fits properly and holds my not small but not firm boobs in the right place !!!!

42C. On other words, a non existent size! 😭😭😭😭😭

I was a 38GG pre-pregnancy, now a 40F. Most places don't account for women with large breasts unfortunately :(

Yep, I'm a 40F but I also can't wear underwired bras for allergy reasons. Nightmare trying to find something pretty that actually fits xx

Terri, this may sound odd, but have you tried nursing bras? (Obviously for everyday use and not sexy time haha)

I stopped wearing wires when I became pregnant but unfortunately nowhere would stock maternity bras in my size, however a lot of places will stock non wired nursing bras in big sizes as women tend to grow a lot when they're breastfeeding. The clips and straps inside the cup are really annoying but they're the only non-wired bras I've been able to find in a 40F so far xx

Google is your friend!

My size - 38B, in what seems to be considered the old system - is not awkward at all but I still haven't found a perfectly fitting LH bra.

I'm a 34HH... I don't even bother trying to buy a bra on LH! I have had some success with open cupped pieces of lingerie though, so it's not all terrible.

I recently found out I am a 30F , which is a little bit of pain .

Open cup has worked for me too , and also some lacey numbers , The Love me lace range worked quite well for me tooΒ

Aye, 34E or thereabouts (fluxuates a bit). Like Spoonerism and Leanne said, open cup and lacey (particularly non-wired in my case) things sometimes fit well enough. I admit I still haven't taken the plunge on a LH bra yet, though. Having to return it if it doesn't fit is a bit of a hassle- I'd rather just make endless trips to the fitting room. (Well, 'rather' might not be accurate, but... needs must as the devil drives. Stupid boobs.)

However, I personally don't mind wearing basques and such which invariably are nowhere near the right cup size... this is because they're not something that I'm likely to wear out or all day and therefore I don't need the support or comfort, and luckily I wear the spillage well.

You poor ladies!

I'm a 36DD/E, so while finding bras from proper underwear shops isn't too difficult for me they're sometimes not the prettiest or sexiest designs.

What I find more challenging is consolidating this with a 28" waist and 37" hips, it seems lots of places expect us all to be Kardashian-esque!

I am a 34HH and it's a totally nightmare and costs the earth for decent underwear never mind sexy lingerie!!! I went shopping today but didn't see any I liked that wasn't a full bra which made me feel old than the sexy, curvy woman I am and know my OH loves!

I have pretty normal boobs, I wear a 32C or 32D and I don't have any issues finding my size here but when I went to Italy I wasn't able to find it anywhere! It's not an uncommun size so I don't get it! I just can't imagine having that issue in my own country each time I want to get a new bras so I sympathize with you girls
