@rockstar - the shop in Bristol is one of the very few sex shops compared to adult shops where they sell a lot more than the usual (especially upstairs)

Feel quite comfortable in the shop walking around looking and discussing with shop assistance or other customers. Feel a little nervous going in or out in case someone I know driving past sees it and mentions it latter, as generally dont discuss sex with my family or friends.

My experience has been that store staff are good and not embarrassed at all. āHey! Iām looking for a 2 1/2ā inch butt plug. What do you have?" They donāt flinch and say something likeā¦over hereā¦anything else you need? They are the oneās selling the stuff so shouldnāt have an issue with you asking about it.

Youāre lucky; we have none of that where I am, itās all very vanilla (although there are some sprinkles emerging!). Iād love to be able to browse an actual store with some serious merchandise in it. And afterwards, build some extra rooms in the house to store it all! 
@Sexterminator - I agree itās still great to look at the toys and lingerie and I do like to go in with my husband especially when there is a sale - I like to treat him to a few items

I discovered thereās a sex shop in my town hidden on an industrial estate but never been in it yet it spikes my curiosity as to what it might look like inside and what the owners of the place are like lol

I used to be embarrassed when younger however have gotten over it. I figure folks are in there for similar reasons so no reason to be too embarrassed or ashamed. Iāve bought masturbators, butt plugs etc and staff have have always been professional and helpful.

Donāt feel bad. I know someone online that lives in a region within the state of Texas, US that sex toys are actually illegal still in these days. She can only order online and have it sent to an out of county mailbox for pick up. Surprised the heck out of me when she told me about that.
