Bath or shower?

Which are you more likely to have?

I know some may only have a bath or a shower and not both in their living space but thought I’d ask the question.

For me, I’ll have a shower to get clean in the mornings but will have a bath to relax. Bath bomb or some nice bubble bath is always nice. :bathtub:

Showers are for getting clean, baths are to relax :+1:t2:

I like the idea of a bath but in practice, i just get a bit bored after the first few minutes

I’m lucky we have both separately but I still somehow favourite a shower. I will say a glass of red wine, candles and Radox Salts do make a nice treat every now and then

Prefer showers but I do occasionally run a Radox Bath to de-stress and reduce back pain level

Shower daily bath once a week for a soak and to de fluff…ie shave my legs etc.

We have a shower over bath but it is my dream to have it converted into a walk-in shower big enough for two. I know that sounds like a sex thing but it’s not about sex for me: Master Levi and I tried the shower sex thing, kept slipping, so instead it became a place for some amazingly open conversations. I really miss those conversations with him.

Also on my own, my showers are my thinking time.

I rarely take baths. I love showers, especially with my wife.

Bath daily as I need to soak my aching muscles after a day’s work, plus I work in cold conditions so like to soak and warm my bones and chill. Had a decent shower fitted about 6 years ago during a complete bathroom refit and probably used it less than 5 times!

Use showers when away cos often accommodation only has showers, but finding out how to operate them without being frozen or boiled alive is often an adventure! :joy:

Samantha here. Shower. I probably have 2 or 3 baths a year.

Ben however has 2 or 3 baths a week. He says its to de-stress. He does live with 3 females though :joy:

We only have shower rooms at the moment. But it will be a requirement to have at least one room with a bath in it when we move. I do miss a bath.

I’m more likely to have a shower because they’re daily (and much needed after a day working on the farm). As @MsSubExperimenter so perfectly put it, showers to get clean, baths to relax. Baths for me are about a 2 hour affair and I love them, but very rarely have the spare time. Summer, they are very much a rarity; Winter, I have a bit more spare time and often come home freezing cold, when, as @WillC says, they are a necessity for thawing.

Hate baths, I only shower. I do like soaking in a hot tub though.

Don’t have a bath, only a walk in shower.

Showers for me, baths I never want to get out.
