I've used something similar anally before and it is a really nice sensation. The only concern you should really have is that the withdrawl strings are designed for vaginas, so they may not be strong enough to be safe for anal retrieval. buttplugs can become a bit dry but i enjoy that as part of my punishment
I find drying out gets me even in normal use.
For long term wear, either regular reaplication or using something like a silicone lube which wont dry out is probably best.
