I think best friend sex can be dangerous…could lose the friendship. My husband and GF were best friends from childhood. They had a very stormy dating relationship at first, and ended up going their separate ways. Thankfully, their friendship survived, and they’ve got 5 kids together now. So, when it works, it is great. When it doesn’t work, it definitely can cause issues.
