I’ve been having a problem with lube recently. I can’t find one I like and it’s really ruining sex for me.
I’ve used the LH discover lube that is intended for anal. However, I find it gets dry/sticky incredibly quickly and that I have to reapply a lot during intercourse with my partner.
My partner is also circumcised, so lube is a must for hand jobs also and again. He previously had the LH discover lube and I really liked it, however this new bottle seems to be totally different.
The lube I’ve most enjoyed, would have to be the one that comes with the Tenga Eggs. That lube is AMAZING. Something close to that would be ideal. I would purchase the Tenga lube itself however it’s a little on the expensive side for the size of the bottle you get in my opinion.
So, any suggestions? Taste isn’t an issue as it’s only used for sex and hand jobs. No allergies. Not being used anally and only used with glass toys. Thank you!
For hand job try a silicone or silicone hybrid lube these dont dry out at all.
For PIV or any other water based lube, try a spray bottle with plain water in it, it will restore up to a point the effect, its the evaporation of the water that makes it go sticky?
I highly recommend Sliquid’s hybrid lube, Silk. I never looked back after I started to use hybrid lubes, they are better than the water based ones. I don’t recommend pure silicone ones unless you’re playing in the shower.
I use a lot of lube but have never found a brand that is perfect- in the past I got a good one from that high street sex toy / lingerie store - it was perfect- big bottle and works well - then they discontinued it
I have tried others from here - but find it very expensive as the bottles are small and while good - it’s not perfect
That LH Discover lube switch-up sounds frustrating! Have you considered checking out some online forums or reviews for recommendations? Sometimes folks there have some solid suggestions based on similar experiences.
I once had a similar lube dilemma until I gave edited a shot. Ended up finding someone who recommended this awesome silicone-based lube that’s been a game changer. It’s slick and lasts forever.
I got some liquid silk just to see if spending a little more is worth it, and it definitely is. The supermarket stuff you get like ky/durex etc are ok, but once you’ve had tried a better one you don’t want to go back
At the moment im using lovehoneys discover anal lube again for all purposes, I do like the clear look after using liquid silk which is more cum style looking. But I love liquid silk for that very reason.
I am humming and ahing whether to go back to using the discover / enjoy lube for one main reason being the ingredients.
Liquid silk having 17 or so ingredients including a few different types of parabens, while the enjoy and discover only have the essentials ingredients for lube.
Iv read a lot of articles saying the less ingredients in lube the better and that parabens can be bad for you but the amount that’s in liquid silk is neither here nor there.
I find liquid silk a bit runny where as the other are more thicker and don’t run of toys.
Im trying to make up my mind before ordering a hand full of bottles for my next restock.
I’ve recently brought myself some of the LH discover as it was on offer and I was close to running out of my usual.
It’s really excellent stuff, especially for anal, the mrs prefers it for that reason
I think for solo I would still take the liquid silk (manly for the colouring and thinner texture) but really there isn’t a lot in it and both do the job perfectly
I shall definitely be keeping an eye on this thread as I am often disappointed by water based lubes drying out and going sticky. I shall order some of the ones recommended on here
it’s also water based 
so it’s condom and toy safe!
