Best oil/lube for erotic massage?

Hello

Just looking for some pointers. I'm looking for a good lube/oil that we can use for massage and sex, obviously it needs to be compatible with condoms as I currently can't take any hormonal birth control. I'd love to try Cocount oil but it's not compatible with condoms.

We also like the look of the durex embrace but can't justify the cost.

Just wondering what other people would recommend. Thanks :)

Hey FTF :)

If you want something that's condom compatible, you'll need to avoid all oils, including the usual massage ones.

If you want something that's latex compatible, safe for sex and lasts a long time, I'd recommend a silicone based lube. Silicone lasts way longer than water-based lube so you'll need to top up less often. Just remember that silicone lube is not compatible with most silicone toys - so if you're using silicone toys, go for a thick water-based lube instead. Also, silicone lube is not water-soluable so can be quite difficult to wash off with just water and could stain furnishings if you're  using a lot of it (read the descriptions and packaging before use to be on the safe side).

Oils and waxes do have the added benefit of nourishing the skin which won't be as prevelant in lubes, but it will still help your hands / a massager glide across the skin more smoothly.
