We personally use few different when I am enjoying anal sex with my OH.

I was thinking something egg or C-shaped (like a We-Vibe Chorus, or the lush that @Floetromain mentioned) although if you’re doing anal in doggy or prone positions (rear entry) they may not provide strong vibrations to the shared wall.
A vibrating dildo would probably be best (in my mind) at staying in, if you’re up for full DP style play. If your prone it will probably stay relatively put if it has balls and you squeeze your legs together. However, when we do DP the amount o pressure and movement always pulls the dildo out a little, but it’s not much trouble at all in my mind to reach around and hold the dildo in place - in fact one of my favorite things to do is move the dildo while we’re having anal/DP so I can feel on my shaft the dildo head as it glides along the anterior (?) wall.
At the end of the day, vaginas don’t have a closing sphincter (like the anus will around plugs) and so anything other than an insertable egg/bullet vibe is likely to work its way out while you have anal. Everything hands free would certainly be cool, but is it really that much inconvenience?
And I’d echo what @Tenshadesandme says about making sure you’re considering your pleasure and what you want from it. In our case I’d certainly be happy with PIV and a vibrating plug in wifey’s bum, but her perspective is that if she’s taking anything up the bum she wants it to be me getting the pleasure , and then she really enjoys the DP and feeling right on that pleasure/discomfort edge of being completely filled up.
