I am just about to purchase a Vixen Mustang dildo and I heard that the Black Lovehoney Satin Drawstring Toy Bag (that I already own and was gonna use with Mustang) can stain items. Has anyone had this happen with Vixskin? Can this be prevented by washing out the bag before putting Vixskin in it? What else can I do?
If you don't use toy bags, how do you travel with your Vixskin toy? I am afraid of damaing such an expensive purchase.

I keep mine in its original packaging. I don't own any of storage bags you have mentioned so unfortunately I can't comment if in fact they transfer dye. How about investing in a sex toy storage case?

I brought this https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=36156 for my partner's masturbators and its great, bigger than the satin ones, no dye transfer and the air holes mean the toy keeps in a good condition.
I have had dye transfer from the purple bag so I only tend to put cheap toys in them. Not tried washing it tho.

I have had transfer from one of the purple bags as it stained my beloved Happy Rabbit 2. If you wash the bags inside out on a high setting then you should be fine, but if you don't want to risk it then either of the above options are great 
I also keep my mustang in its original packagong. I never usually do, but vixen's packaging is perfect for that.
Also, I always wash my storage bag before using them (on a delicaye cycle), and I've never had an issue with the due transfering, with neither the lovehoney bags or others bags that comes with the toys sometimes.
Definitely keep it in the tube it comes in. Bulky, but definitely the safest way I've found of storing an transporting. It also keeps the dildo standing upright in storage which keeps it from losing its shape :)

+1 to the storage boxes. I have had die come out of one of the black storage bags, so I always wash them a couple of times by hand before use
I know this sounds odd. 😕 But I use odd socks to store vibrators / dildos in.
Keeps them separate and depending on thickness of the socks protected.
