Hope some of you can give me the benefits of your experiences....
My wife sometimes finds she can only really let herself go when it's dark, and so we've found that using the http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=21798 works in situations where it's not dark.
It's a great product, and we've had lots of fun with it, but the only thing is that as she has quite thick hair, it can be a little bit of a hassle to get it tied on securely in the first place without tangling hair, and then to stay on....
I have the same problem, I have thick curly hair with a mind of it's own.
I either put my hair in a ponytail first, then put on the blindfold then take the ponytail out or leave it in. How about once it's on, use curby pins to secure the sides of the blindfold to the side of her hair? on the top and bottom then it shouldn't budge. ^_^ x
The hoods I have looked at, the only thing there is I think we'd prefer open mouth, and those all seem to not do the blackout thing well from the reviews, although combining with a blindfold looks like it's worked for some. The normal aeroplane mask type ones don't really cut out the light on their own... but maybe the two together....
Nevans & Missnoir.... Thanks... although I find fumbling about with the mask enough for my thick fingers... not sure I could go an impromptu hair styling session too... nice ideas though, certainly worth a try ;-)
We have a couple of, what you could call ski goggles, totaly black. The beauty of these is that you can open your eyes or roll your eyes and you're in total blackout. Add a pair of ear muffs and you've lost two of your sences.
Once you have the tension right on the straps, you don't know they're there. No ties to pull your hair or put presure on your eyeballs, no distraction! Apart from being deaf and blind. lol x
It's probably the best we have, it's comfortable (if a bit itchy at times), fully adjustable and it really does offer complete darkness. It's fitted to the contours of the wearers face and it's velcro fastening with no excess ends so there's no danger of it being yanked off unless you want it to be.
I love it when my BF is teasing me and puts on out blindfold.
I have quite thick hair (afro to be exact) and we found a nice simple blindfold that does the trick. Stays on and keeps me in the dark ![](upload://h7LJ67OOrR57VDYrj5ZEwwHAfLG.gif)
I think it's this one, we have had it for a while now and it hasn't failed us yet. The one that you have already is silk and most likely to slip off in the heat of things, whereas this one has elastic straps to keep it in place.
Unfortunately not sold on LH but I like the mindfold. It's not kinky but it's a blindfold that allows you to open your eyes and completely blacks out any light. It's often recommended for use when flying.
