Bondage, guide to tying up wrists

Hi All,

Ok My beds headboard is solid, so I've utilised a towl bath robe waist tie which is tied in a loop around the top slat under the bed and the loop can be pulled out so it peaks out from the matress where the pillows are.

I have some silk ties that I got from lovehoney (http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=20343) which I have used before and must say are great!

But I'm looking for some tips on securly but comfertably tying up her wrists with the silk to the loop I've made. Any link to guides with step by step pictures would be great!

Reef knots are a good bet for tying wrists - you can tie them loosely enough that the hand can't fit through but not so tight that the circulation is reduced.

Then clove-hitch to the bed post!

Edit: hadn't spotted the bit about the loop - I'd use a sheet bend

(Your existing loop would take the part of the blue rope in the picture)

Hi againstleon, we have just reviewed this. We have only ever done light bondage but this has totally changed our opinion and is firmly on our list of things to incorporate in our love making.

You are totally restraint but feel it is all soft and luxurious.

Adding to everyone elses suggestions here.

Having a good bit of experience of knots the one that I'd recommend the most for tying wrists is definitly the Bowline. http://www.animatedknots.com/bowline/
The reason this is so good is that it won't tighten when pulled on (which is good to avoid both chaffing and restriction of bloodflow) and also it won't slip so it pretty hard to wiggle out of. Finally it is a super easy knot to remember and apply. Have fun!

In the heat of the moment knots always tend to turn into hotchpotch granny knots dont they?
My tip is to acquire some bondage tape, you can then wrap this around the wrists before tying the wrists up. The rape will help protect the skin from chaffing cutting and pressure sores.

Thank you MattB for posting animatedknots! I've never heard of the site before, but it's going to be a great help to us c:

ROFL.! I use that site for knot tieng for scouts!😄
I am going to have a hard time thinking of the legit use of a certain knot now.
BTW.. Bowline is definitely a good one... Or round turn 2 half hitches.... Both are nautical knots that can be easily undone.

Round turn 2 half hitches will not constrict as much as bowline
