I've always like using it as a muzzle by wrapping the recipients head up. Note that you do have to be very careful to ensure it doesn't block breathing but it's an amazing feeling. Go the fully way and just leave their nose poking out for some sensory deprivation.
On that note, I would suggest looking up "fish hook cutters". They aren't kinky per se but they allow you to quickly remove bondage tape/pallet wrap from someone without worrying about cutting them. You can get seat belt cutters that do the same but if they have a wheel I've found they clog up too easily.
