I have recently read a couple of topics on here regarding edging for females and I see some women say they don’t see the need to edge when they can have orgsam after orgasm, while I can see the point it’s not just about the orgasm well for me it isn’t being a male.
Why I like it:
Being teased to the point and then withholding is a squirming kind of torture feeling, if a partner is doing this to me it’s all part of foreplay and makes the session fun and eventually very explosive and heart racing feeling.
Solo edging well because I’m single I prefer to feel on the edge of excitement for days or weeks, anything could accidentally turn me on and to have a embarrassing moment.
Being single it gives me a fun sexed up happy feeling that I would have if I was with a partner.
Orgasm denial is such a great addition solo or with a partner.
Two reasons for edging, prolonging the exquisite sensations, and finally having a huge orgasm, male or female. It doesn’t always have to be right to the edge of cumming either. Just titillating yourself or partner on and off for hours or even days can make the eventual climax super strong.
There are many people that participate in orgasm control with their partners, teasing them to the edge of orgasm and backing away repeatedly until finally allowing them to cum. I do not know the proportion of men to women who edge themselves. I would think it would be easier for women because they do not need to conceal their erection, so could do it at work or other places and not be seen. I enjoy edging, although I never really call it that. I think of it as teasing or prolonging the pleasure. Absolutely as that is what it really is, I love being teased in all ways, I think with a partner it’s always called teasing, but if I’m on my own I use edging probably because it sounds naughtier.
I think you might find a lot of females do it, including myself. (Though very similar to @Kitty-Cat01 I don’t really call it edging). More just a prolonged or extended orgasm. Not sure if males do the same, but I’ll often change pattern or movement, which I find really helps.
I’ve tried stopping and getting on with my day and it’s a lot harder than I thought. So kudos to any man who once they’ve started can stop
@Stacy2 I agree with you there as a male it is nice in the sense of it being prolonged. In terms of positions I usually change hand position and also body position from sitting up, lying on side, lying on back etc and standing in the shower.
if I start edging at night I don’t stand a chance of stopping until I explode however if I have an early morning session I can usually stop and wait until that night. Do ladies give themselves ruined or hands free orgasms more so from doing it for a prolonged period would you say?
I’ve tried both in a morning and night and Its so hard to stop. In my case it probably doesn’t help, that I can’t go a day without one. I’ve had more O’s than days so far this year. (I decided to track them because of a member on here)
And I think every women could be different @user1295 (for example those who have just one orgasm and are finished). I have multiple so I think its harder prolonging it. Personally I try mix things up and use different toys (I have enough haha) - I’m also not sure about other ladies, but PIV orgasms don’t really do it for me. @Stacy2 we are opposites then, I usually have 1-2 wanks a week and release a full weeks load and with living at home still I can’t always get the privacy I want to masturbate every day without being interrupted. For me I think I learnt edging or prolonging through having to stop start thinking I was going to or from actually getting interrupted.
