Hi all,
I'm looking for some bridal lingerie for my upcoming wedding in Novemeber, compling a wishlist of options but I'm finding it difficult to make a descion. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or experiences they could share that would help me?
For the day, I can't wear a bra because of how my dress is made, but I'd like some nice underwear. I'd also like a stocking and suspender set (particularly as it's likely to be cold) that are white and fit the bill. Perhaps this:

I never usually wear suspenders out of the bedroom or for long periods of time, so my question is are they comfortable for all day wear? Is it likely you'll be able to see thier outline through the dress, like VPL?
I'd also like to hear any suggestions of a lingerie set for the wedding night, something that hides my belly and enphasises my breasts!

I should've mentioned in the post, I'm a size 14, and my thighs are pretty chunky so I sometimes have trouble with stockings really digging in and hold ups tend not to hold up so well. I just came across these beauties though:

What about the shorter version of that robe? It's £17 pounds cheaper, but still beautiful and can definitely be classed as bridal!

You have some lovely choices here. I have worn suspenders for a long time, and found them quite comfortable, they also make you feel really sexy too! There is also this white lace robe set which looks really pretty :) xx

Sugarboobies I always find it pretty funny when size 14 is the XL size when the avarage UK dress size of a woman is size 16 (surely this means size 16 should be M, but what do I know?).
Scorpius, do you sometimes find you can see the outline of the suspender belt through certain clothing? I really like the idea of wearing one but a bit worried about it showing.
For my wedding I originally bought tights but then I suddenly thought what bad idea it was. I ended up purchasing suspender knickers. I was concerned the belt would just be yet another layer to add on. I had a corseted strapless dress with underskirts and a train (I only wanted a short prom dress but I went all girly in the shop ha)so it wasn't exact comfortable. Half an hour into the evening reception I was so hot and uncomfortable I ended up going to the toilets and taking off the suspenders and stockings.
Wear something you want for the ceremony but be prepared to take them off after a few drinks and dances.

I feel.your pain. When I buy something in a 22 it's like 4xl and makes me feel like a hippo. But it's all about what fits and makes you feel good. What about white crotchless tights for the day? Easy access to pee too!

I don't normally wear stockings under something close fitting for the reason of being able to see the outline. I tend to wear them under a flouncy skirt or dress etc. You could always wear hold ups, as these would not have that issue or maybe suspender tights - here are some options that may be suitable :) xx

Oh tell me about it, I'm 18, but go up sizes for nightwear.
Thanks for the ideas everyone! Given what Rosycheek said about it being a bit much to wear with the dress I think I'm going to go for the patterned white hold ups for the day (and hope they do hold up) and some nice knickers.

Glad I could help. Just a wee thought, depending on the transparency of the fabric, there are blue knickers in the sale. That's if you are doing the old, new, borrowed and blue.

I wore suspenders in my wedding day but my dress is only right fitting on the top, it flows stunningly on the skirt section. Anyway the suspenders were fine because we married alone, got changed into my lingere after about two hours. As Rosy said, too long they'll get uncomfortable.
I reckon that set of hold-ups which have the attachment to the waistband would be stunning with no fear of rolling down. I adore the set you linked 😍

Bexy I think you're right I could try the dress with a suspender belt and see if it works with the dress, as I have had bad experiences with hold ups in the past rolling down and really digging into my legs. I'm getting married in the morning so I'll be wearing this stuff all day so comfort is paramount.
Slinky what do you mean by hold ups that have attachment to the waistband? Can you link me to some?

^ I hope both of those look the same gorgeous colour in person! Ivory can be a difficult colour to get right. If they are, then they're really beautiful and could definitely be an option for bridal or honeymoon sleepwear/lingerie
