its gone viral in the last 48 hours, lot of english newspapers are running the story
I haven't seen the video and I don't know why anyone would want to watch it. But personally, this sort of stuff goes on in Magaluf all the time. Every single night in practically every single bar there are games for people to play to win drinks, these are often dancing on the bar totally naked, men and women. It's not uncommen for women and men to perform oral sex acts on each other in a public bar or club, and this happens every single night.
The thing is though, that girl could have said no at any point, but she chose not to. She wasn't forced to do anything, she did it for a "free holiday", but considering she was on holiday anyway I don't see why she wanted another one, even if it did turn out to be a free drink. At the end of the day, I would never ever ever give oral sex to 24 men for a free holiday, a free car or ten million pounds.
I am wondering why this is gaining so much attention though, the "booze cruises" that people go on are far much worse and it's pretty much just a massive gang bang. I also think that if it was a man that was doing this it wouldn't have gained so much attention. This girl has done this out of her own free will, so as far as I'm concerned it's a non-story.
No matter what anyone does or says, there's a reason that Magaluf is called Shagaluf. Everyone goes there for the sex and cheap drink and thats a fact. Without those two things, no one would go. The people that go to Magaluf are going with full intentions to get drunk and have sex, and that goes for men and women. It's just the type of people they are. If they wanted to have a holiday that was filled with culture, amazing sights, and exploring what the world has to offer then they would go somewhere else. All of the bars in Magaluf are pretty much owned by Brits anyway. People basically go there so they can do things that they couldn't get away with doing in England.
As MrsMcX said, Magaluf is widely known for this and is nicknamed shagaluf. I had a friend who worked out there during the summer months who told me of all the sex games and parties that took place. That’s why it so popular, especially among students.
I have no opinion of this girl who performed this though, if it was consensual then who am I to judge but I think the Spanish police are looking into it now, just to make sure.
The only thing that is really annoying me now though is the “slut shaming” that is taking place, some sites are already showing this with the usual ‘her parents must be so proud’ ‘she’s one to avoid’ and other derogatory statements towards her.
I think there's a fine line between "slut shaming". Sometimes this happens to girls, when if a man had of done the same thing it would have been exceptable. But this is an extreme case, and I can't help but agree with the comments that have been made. If I did that my parents would never speak to me again. I can't believe someone would have such low dignity.
Couldn't care to be honest like everyone has said it happens all the time and not just in Magaluf!

I think, to a certain extent, the young girl in queston has been taken advantage of even if only because of her age and, you'd assume, drunkeness. The guys in bthe story though are getting off tremendously lightly. Maybe I'm a prude, but if I saw that happening in a bar, I'd have her on her feet, and have her pals take her back to her hotel.
I cant say that i feel sorry for her, but i dont judge her either. If media would make "big" stories about stupid things everyone done at some point of their life we wouldn't hear anything about politics, war and other things.
I really dont understand why do all UK need to know what one girl did on her holiday?!
apparently she done it to win a holiday but they gave her a cocktail called 'holiday' instead and was being encouraged to drink more and more, apparently the police are now investigating it.
I don't think the girl has been taken advantage of at all. She could have said no. The bar has actually reported that she didn't do it for a holiday or a drink, and she did it just because she wanted to. If she had been taken advantage of she would have filed a report with the Spanish police and the UK government, but no reports have been filed.
As far as I'm concerned, people make their bed and lie in it. If the free holiday is worth it good for her. If anyone involved gets STIs or feels regret afterwards, it's their own fault. I feel no reason to blame or shame anyone here, they'll have plenty of time to reflect upon their actions themselves.
She could have said no, yes. I'd guess most people would. And I'm sure a fair few did before they found someone who was drunk or silly enough not to refuse At best, the bar has been pretty irresponsible and their claim that the girl 'wanted' to do it doesn't surprise me, even if it'strue.
I suppose the disctinction needs to be made between legality and morality. If the bar have done nothing legally wrong then there's nothing the police or government can do. Does that mean they haven't taken advantage of her? That depends on your moral stance, I suppose.
I believe the town's mayor is talking about investigating, by the by, although that sounds like a reaction to bad press more than anything else if it's as rife as reported.
Didn't see it, don't want to. But if she's an adult and wasn't coerced into performing these sex acts then who cares? It's just the usual salacious nonsense that seems to fill a lot of the uk press.
I couldn't care less what consenting adults get up to - as Jess says, this is just "slut shaming" in the medai of the girl who was unwise/unfortunate to be caught doing it on camera.
Just checking out the irish independent website and they also have this story. Apparently the girl is Irish. I'm so proud. We all did crazy shit when we were kids.
It goes on all the time in places like these. I have been on many a 18-30's holidays and have witnessed a fair few things. I feel quite sorry for the girl to be fair, I don't expect for a second she thought a video of it would go viral especially as so many girls (and guys) do things like this on a weekly basis in places like "Shagluf" and Kavos. Some of the comments are totally unfair and something like this will probably haunt her for the rest of her life. She must be mortified. I think people should just move on and stop commenting about it as people seem to be getting a kick out of calling her a slag or a slut and totally caning the poor girl, tomorrow's chip paper.
Not seen the video and have no interest in it. Its been a big debate on some other online forums I use. I wouldn't even class it as oral sex either. It was just a party game that happens all the time. Just a shame that she was filmed and posted on social networking sites.
I have to agree with the slut shaming thing. Slut shaming is defined as:

In this instance, all the negative attention, insults and shaming comments are, for the most part, falling squarely on the shoulders of the one female present in this "game" I mean, if the men were getting just as many nasty comments and insults for standing in a line with X amount of other men, penis out ready to be sucked by a stranger, then I would happily sit back and shut up. The fact that the attention and derision has all fallen on the one female in this act is what grinds my gears. It continues perpetuating the myth that hyper-sexual behaviour is normal and accepted for men, but women must be "wrong" inside to do such a thing.
I think that as a teenager, most of us did stupid things, got way too drunk and did things we regretted later, but that is also beside the point. Saying "she was drunk and young and probably egged on to do it" might be true, but it might also not be true and for all we know, she wanted to to this simply because lol. I have a feeling though, as a young, impressionable and drunk teen, that the peer pressure was a majot part in her accepting the challenge.
Even if that is the case, its her life. I am not going to judge. Considering I sit and watch porn to get aroused, I would be a hipcrite to call that women out for being unlucky enough to be filmed doing such "disgusting" behaviour. lol Maybe her "mum would not be proud" but these kind of comments also get slung at porn stars (how have families, children etc), prostitutes, cam girls, and even anyone unlucky enough to have let their partner film them, then they break up and suddenly its on the net. So many of us use technology to spice up our sex lifes now and theres a record of it somewhere....
In other words, I think it is just junk news that needs to vanish for the sake of the young teenage womans mental health and life. Teenagers (mostly young girls) are committing suicide over pictures being posted online and such....
The thing is...using technology (phones, cameras etc) is putting yourself at risk of your naked self doing some sex acts on the internet. Does that stop the most of us? No and younger teens especially do a lot of sexting and using technology in that way. It could be one of our children being blackmailed or bullied in this way. I just feel some kind of empathy towards the young woman.
I would much rather see an article where reps and bars in Magaluf stop this kind of "orgy" behaviour and encouraging these young adults to get wasted and act in such ways. I mean, if 12 men got their penis out in a bar where I live, they would be arrested for indecent exposure!

:/ I have not seen the video but i get the jisst of it... Well to be honest I dont really care.. I mean yea it was stupid as far as sexual health is concerend and very degrading but I do not judge her... Everyone gets drunk and dose stupid things and with all those people she could have felt pressured to complete the so called "challenge". Then again she could have just wanted to do it so she did. Its her decision..
I don't really like what she done.. but by now she will regret it and probably hate herself for being so silly. I feel kind of bad for her and her parents. There is always something though.. carzy videos pop up all the time now.. :/
None of the participants objected so legally there is no problem, but for me there is a moral issue. Not to do with the act, the number of participants, or the setting, but the ability to give consent. Can a person in a highly inebriated state make an informed decision when the act is so public? I know I've done things under the influence of alcohol that I would never do sober, but there is a line that should not be crossed with peer pressure and coercion.
To me those 24 men are just as guilty as anyone else. It seems unfair that the only one being named, shamed and targeted is the girl.
