Budget silicone dildo for anal recommendations?

I recently got my first ever sex toy, a little prostate masssager/buttplug, and it’s quite nice for just putting in and leaving there. I knew I’d want another toy at some point, but I didn’t think so soon, but because of the price of some of the more simple silicone lovehoney toys, it’s kind of hard to pass up for something that’ll last me years.

I’m thinking of getting a dildo next, something I can use to more actively (try to) stimulate my prostate.

One option I’ve found so far, which seems like a solid choice is the Curved Silicone Suction Cup Dildo 7inch. It seems like a solid choice. It’s also the most popular of that range of dildos. Curved could make it easier to reach prostate. It’s around 4.75 girth at the base, which seems good. That makes the tip about an inch in diameter, and the base around 1.5inch diameter.

Is this a good choice, or might there be better options? How about the 8inch version? The 9? They’re quite a bit thicker, though. I don’t want to buy something and realise it’s too thin, but also don’t want too thick. The 7inch (6.5inch insertable) seems like a good length and girth, although I’m not sure. I’m fairly short so I don’t want something too long. I’m mainly looking at the girth for these.

Anyone have any other recommendations? What do you think of these cheaper lovehoney silicone toys? Are they decent enough?

My recommendation for first time with an anal dildo is the LoveHoney Curved 5.5 inch or 6inch. They are comfortable and well made and the curved nature would hit your prostate. They worked for me and were a good transition from the plugs I have.

As the prostate is only around 2 inches inside, you don’t need to worry about the length of the toy.

Is your existing toy a plug, or a prostate massager? If it’s a plug, perhaps try a prostate massager. I have this one, which feels great with a little movement and vibration.

Alternatively, a dildo, as you’ve shared, can feel good. They are very different though. I find the pleasure from a dildo comes from thrusting or riding it quickly, whereas the pleasure from a massager is more in a slight rocking motion.

Hope that gives you a little insight

It’s better to be smaller than too big as don’t want to damage yourself by over stretching down there

I’ll probably go with the 7 inch silicone curved one then, rather than 8 or 9. I know I could handle at least the first couple of inches judging by the size, and it’s tapered so I could work up to the rest if it’s uncomfortable at first.

Sounds like a great plan!

Also as a thought, have you considered any of the inflatable butt plugs? They can be a great way to help gradually build up size.

I got the 7inch (6.5inch instertable) silicone curved dildo in the post today, and it’s exceeding my expectations so far. It feels a lot more enjoyable that the little buttplug I bought (lovehoney booty buddy (non-vibrating version)), and the suction cup is useful, too. It’s tapered, and goes in quite easily. I can only get maybe 4 or so inches in before it feels like I hit a wall or something (might be because it’s curved, because the stretch isn’t a problem) but it still feels good. I think it’ll be a lot easier to try to get a prostate orgasm with this dildo compared to the little p-spot butt plug I have. There’s so many different positions and techniques I can try with a dildo compared to a buttplug. I’m also glad I didn’t go with the thinner smaller dildos in the same range, which I’ve seen recommended for anal beginners in some reviews. I’d rather something that I can partially take and work up to fully taking than something that I can take easily right away.

edit: In certain positions, I can take the whole thing, but I feel a strange (not painful) popping sensation before I’m able to fully get it in. Not sure if this is the sigmoid bend or something else. Surprised I can handle the 1.5inch diameter since it’s my first time trying a dildo. I think I’ll stick with a 6-7inch length in the future, but wouldn’t mind upgrading the girth one day, not any time soon, though.
