My point exactly. And by the same notion, if the answer is that it’s due to being subject to multiple people and not a single person then I’d ask if a gangbang/blowbang is degrading.

I mostly think that a lot of kinks are sometimes seen as being negative due to general misunderstanding and taboo - maybe that’s how it’s represented in porn, or due to not being talked about etc. I don’t know.
I think that BDSM is a great example of misunderstanding. I misunderstood a lot about it until I did a ton of reading a couple of years back. I’ve told plenty of people that I’m a big fan of bondage, and some people have reacted as though I’m an evil person.
