It went in pretty easily once I got used to doing it. The most difficult I had was aiming the thing LOL. I wanted to sit on it and placed it on a glossy hard back book on my office chair. This was a bit of a pain as I think the book bowed in the middle a little making it harder to get in properly, and It took some time to work out angles etc, but when I got it right it was great......
I only kept it in for a shot time (3 times in total) to get some experience of the feel of it. Girth wise it was fine, depth wise only a little uncomforatble. Not so much uncomfortatble, more so, I could feel it pushing on something that was resisting slightly.
