I was wondering if certain types of butt plugs are more likely to fall out than others? I had a silicone plug in anally and was using a vibrator vaginally when the plug fell out twice. It’s one I have to work up to, can’t just insert it first thing. I heard a plug during intercourse can be awesome, but falling out would be frustrating. So, do shape, size, material, etc. matter?

You need a plug with a significant girth but a very narrow neck so that your muscles can close back in once the bulb of the plug is place. Steel plugs tend to be designed like this.
That being said sometimes, when I’m actually coming, my muscle contractions can still push a plug out.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a plug come out during intercourse, but that’s probably because hubby uses his weight against it to keep it in place. It feels filthy but… it’s an idea. Good luck!

It’s not unheard of to come out at the wrong moment again wide head really narrow neck amd you’re good.
I’ve had plugs fall out before. The stem needs to be tapered and not too wide.
On the funny side, after sex one night and still wearing a plug, wife and I were laying talking. I said something to her joking, she laughed, hit my stomach and the plug went flying out. We couldn’t stop laughing.

Not had it coming out but i do have a genuine fear of one going all the way in! is that even possible? i have a few different shapes and sizes but every time i do have a worry!

As long as your toy has a flared base and a narrow neck, then it won’t go fully inside you.

Yes it is possible to “end up” all the way in, but thats usually because i/we have used some quite large plugs but dont worry it will come out with a bit finding?

Only time I have had issue with this is when figging, carving a butt plug from a ginger root. Never an issue with the silicon or stainless based commercial products but there are lots of designs out there that may work better for each individual.

The FSOG silicone plug went right in when we were in doggy, think my OH hammered it in! It was rather uncomfortable and scared me thinking we were going on a trip to A&E

I have three of the four sizes, and they are all amazing 
OH was able to get it out and we carried on with doggy and no plug! We made a note that next time we use the metal plug.

sometimes its just the postion you are in that makes it prone to slipping out , face down on all 4s or on your back with your hips raised can keep the smaller plugs in my largest plugs don’t budge no matter my postion or size of dildo/vibe/partner

As JoCat said if you have a reasonably sized plug with a very narrow neck it should stay in securely.
