Buying a toy for a male friend

I am hardly one to observe normal social etiquette, but I do have to wonder if I am overstepping in this case. I just bought two of the Tenga 3d Zen toys that are on sale at the moment for two of my mates.

I only discovered the joys of male toys in the last year and I am not extremely vocal about it, although I think they are fantastic. I already bought a wank egg for one of the guys as a graduation present, and I know he will like this toy, and the other guy would be happy enough.

My question is; is it wierd for a guy to buy another guy a wank toy as a present? I mean women buy each other toys all the time as presents or as "Joke gifts" *wink wink*. What do you guys think?

Well I'm not male but I think there's nothing wrong with it at all. Although a lot of men would be just stupid and say oh that's gay! But just because you're not females, doesn't mean you can't do the same things as females

I brought sex toys for my straight guy friend and he finds it funny but still loves it anyway. It just depends on the guy. If he is uptight and sexually conservative then I think he might not recieve it well. I know some straight guys are pretty open about it.

I love my Tracy Cox super stroker and I've often thought about buying one for my mate because I know how good it is but I've always held off because I'm not quite sure of the appropriate time to give it to him and also what he would say + that would provoke an additional conversation about wanking which guys only really discuss in guest.

My partner brought a clone a Willy and pussy for his mate as him and his girlfriend are in a long distance relationship. They loved it and had never used a toy before he's made them into Lovehoney addicts now

I do not think it's strange at all

Go for it!

I buy my friend toys on a regular basis, even underwear. I know what she likes and she doesn't do online shopping but helps with my little ones now and again so I repay her in toys. It means she tries things she wouldn't otherwise and she thinks it's great.

I even make her a surprise toy hamper at Xmas lol

She knows I've got several "Kinks" (doesn't know the extent of some of them, but knows I have a vast toy collection and she enjoys being able to talk to me about sex related things now. I can't even do that with my best friend as she's quite conservative. I think if someone is open minded then it should never be a problem :)

I personally have rather conservative female friends, so while I've considered buying them bullets (as a huge service because I adore mine), I never worked up the guts to do so. I've bought tons of lingerie for them though, both as a prank and as a serious "go get laid" gift.

Still, I personally don't think it's strange for a guy to buy a stroker / toy for a good buddy. To me, it's kinda like sharing good porn. It's not like it's going to come with a card saying, "think of me while using this ;)", lol. I'd see it as more of a "from one guy to another" gift, although, it really is up to you to decide whether your friend would derive more curious interest or genuine trepidation from a gift like that.

Would absolutely love to receive sex toys as gifts from my friends though. /envious
