Buying Mrs B a Glass Dildo for her birthday

Evening all,

I'm planning to buy my lovely wife a glass dildo for her birthday, we already have a couple of vibes which she likes but not with the vibes switched on so I thought a glass dildo might be a nice surprise.

Now here's the question, should I go for the longest length or a G-spot shaped one, any ladies have experience or preferences...

Appreciate the help,

ta

I have these http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=17187 and love them, the pink one is good as the raised nodules catch your g-spot and the clear one is good as I love the feeling of each of the bulbs going in and out, but there are loads out there, glass is great so it just depends what you wife likes when playing I suppose?

Good luck, hope she enjoys it when she gets her pressie :-)

Actually, I have always wanted to bring up a point about glass dildos.

I bought the gorgeous dotty glass dildo - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=4264

The reviews are excellent. it was a beautiful well made item. However it just didn't work for me.. Kinda "grated" against me inside.. if that makes sense. It was a real shame.

Here is a whole list- http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/sex-toys/dildos/glass-dildos/

Is there a particular kinda toy that she prefers? See if she prefers girth or shape.

Good luck!

Thanks for the tips ladies, she/we currently own a realistic jelly vibe and a Fun Factory Semirealistic vibe, both are a 'natural' type shape which leads me to think that either of these may suit best...

Any thoughts...?

Yeah, I was going to say they make a good introductory set, you get 3 different textures with them, for a reasonable price. The pink one's double large ball end makes a great handle but not so great for insertion, but it may suit some people. These are not the most commonly used toys in our toy box but they are great for temperature play.

Personally I'd prefer a bit of texture but then I'm not a fan of smooth vibes/dildo's anyway, but you know what you she likes so am sure it will be great, and if not, you have the great LH returns policy anyway http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/help/returns-policy/

Yeah I agree, I only use the two bulbs on the pink one as a handle, haha, but def a great intro into glass toys, when I first got them, I loved them and used them all the time, they have slipped down the pecking order slightly now tho, not sure why?

Not sure why either... maybe this thread is a reminder they need to see light of day again sometime soon! At least I will be thinking about them when I next see my OH.

I got the same feeling when I used it too! Not only did it feel terrible physically, it felt terrible mentally because it was the first present my OH ever bought for me and I hated it! I know it's not his fault - if anything it was mine because he bought it from my wishlist, but it was such a shame. I hate it when toys you have such high expectations of turn out to be awful. :(

The dotty ones do look kind of harsh. The ones with more swirls and waves seem a lot more touchy feely.

The dots on the tracy cox pink can be a bit much for me, but then i'm not a thruster. I'm more of a put it in and leave it sort of person. Though I do like the two bulbs.

I dunno if this is applicable to your OH, but i'm a big fan of the double ended toys. Not just because they are more versatile, I also think they look a lot better. Something about a flattened base puts me off. I think the double ended ones just seem more sinuous to me.

I know the g-spot waver is currently out of stock, but that looks like quite a good one, along with he anal waver.

Again currently out of stock, this is fairly similar to the ones you picked out, but again it has two ends.

At the end of the day though, pick something that you like the look off. You know her tastes more than we could, so tap into he inner her and go with what you think is right. =)

i have both the dotty one http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=4264 and the ribbed one(out of stock) http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15395

and out of both of them i like the ribbed one best. i can feel the ribs more than the dots, and for me it is excellent chilled, though thats something that preference.

personally i like the look of the light up supernova if i were going for a smooth glass toy http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=7718

You linked the e-stim kit there. =)

Oh! I thought it was just me! *hugs* I guess the shape and the extra dotty surface doesn't help.. but the whole point of a glass dildo is that it's firm and made out of glass, grr. I guess I need to look out for a wavey one that will fit nicely.

It was so pretty though. I wanted to keep it just for that.. >.<

Have you had any luck with anymore?

Wow guys & girls thanks for all the info, I'll keep my eyes on those out of stock items as here birthday isn't until later in January
