Lube could act as a non Newtonian fluid now that I think about it... mmh... I think it could be plausible.
Yeah, personally I prefer using anal lube for everything as it lasts longer, doesn't dry up as quickly and just feels more smooth/better ^_^

Yes, it isn't dangerous anyway.
I think all lovehoney lubes can be used for anal, oral, vaginal sex and masturbation, even though some are specialist. I tend to buy the flavored ones only because I like the smell better.
Anal lubes tend to be thicker than your standard lube which makes it easier to work with in my experience. I can't see how there would be any problems.
