If we go by the Oxford Learners Dictionary then a hobby is “an activity that you do for pleasure when you are not working”.
So I guess it is a hobby unless you are doing it on work time
Going by this definition anything can be considered a hobby if you enjoy it so I guess a better question would be whether it is a healthy hobby or not?
I don’t know about a hobby, but I’ve definitely watched porn for “research.”
Seriously, they have some great ideas in the more niche categories to help fire up the creative (and other) juices, and we have played some of them out ourselves.

I’d honestly argue it can be! I absolutely love watching porn, and I could easily watch it every single day. There is a never-ending supply of high-quality, beautifully shot content out there, and some of the performers are just fantastic at what they do. On those rare days when I manage a double solo session, I love finding two completely different videos to match the mood.

I watch an unhealthy amount of porn for a 42 year old married father of 2. Nobody knows I do it, but I watch it in the morning and at night, been known to watch it at work.
