The OH's rabbit vibe does not seem as powerful after charging as it used to, is this a well documented phenomenon, is it time to go shopping?
Rechargeable batteries gradually deteriorate over time so it is quite possible that your toy is not as powerful as it used to be.
Has happened to me, new toy required! Particularly happens in older or cheaper toys that don't use lithium-ion batteries.
Also, non li-ion batteries are a bit more sensitive to how you charge them, so to prolong their life one could be a bit more disciplined around not allowing them to decharge too much or allowing over-charging
I think motors can wear out too. There's a couple of Hail Mary tricks I've tried in the past (with mixed results). If you charge it up and then work your way through each setting for a few minutes each, with an extra long bazz on the strongest, that can sometimes get things moving again. I've also drained the toy out completely, left it to charge up fully, and then drained it and charged it again. That can sometimes perk up a confused battery. Finally, I've given a few a thwack in the palm of my hand, and that's knocked a bit of sense into a couple. 🙂
Failing that, Black Friday isn't too far away. 🙂👍
Looking forward to Black Friday, new toy required....Ian Chimp wrote:

+1 to the new toy required. The motors definitely wear out with time. It's happened to us with rabbits and bullets. Although Ian's tips about the batteries are spot on and worth a try.
I'm sorry, when I read the title I thought someone actually wanted to try and 'wear out' a rabbit, as in going out with one in. I'm actually quite relieve it was about the motor, my mind was well and truly boggled for a moment there.
Eeeek, loss of vibe power, the stuff of nightmares.
I thought they meant wearing outside too! Sorry to hear about your loss, glad the sales are coming your way :)
Sorry to hear that. That hasn't happened to ours, but it's normal for both the battery to last less and the motors to lose strength, specially in cheaper toys. But as other have said, Black Friday isn't far off!
