Lovehoney do a great candle for this where the wax gets warm only and when put to skin it’s hot but not to burn - do not use paraffin based candles as these burn very hot and a trip down a&e is no fun

Add in a blindfold to increase the tension, especially when you’re getting things set up. The blindfolded person is listening to everything and wondering whats coming.

The candles I got from the local sex shop hurt like hell! If you don’t like intense pain get candles that don’t heat the wax so much different types of wax heat differently.
Soy wax candles seem to be ok and cooler
Try a massage candle as they smell fantastic and don’t burn the skin. They also get fairly wet and won’t reharden on the skin.
Highly recommend a tropical smell like coconut or something that is new. Vanilla or other strange smells can trigger a feeling that you don’t want and be a psychological turn off.
