Just for those who may be interested. The op went really well and i did not feel a thing. was a bit achy the first night but took some pain killers. So now its about 5 days after and i must say my vision is now so good i do not need to wear glasses anymore. They actually make my vision worse. Cant wait to get the other one done now. So if anyone is worried about having it done in the future it was a breeze for me.
Thatâs great it went well for youâ![]()
My situation was a bit different didnât really make a positive impact on my eyesight, still need glasses obviously you need to wear reading glasses after having a cataract or two removed but generally my eyesight got worse over the years.
Oh i am sorry it didnt go so well for you.Yes i have noticed trying to read has got more difficult. When i have the other one done i will need reading glasses for sure.
Thanks, it probably didnât go well because I was only 30 so my eyes shouldnât of really been degrading, I had to be put to sleep because being younger it was more of a delicate operation and a bit more risk of going blind.
Yes you will need reading glasses when you get the other eye done, because you have now lost auto focusing but the good news is that your distance sight should be really good. Do you know when you are getting the other eye done?
No not yet. I have a check up in about three weeks or so and i will ask then. Just hope it wont be around when we go to the isle of wight in september.
Glad that you had a good experience. Just be sure to follow your doctorâs orders, and, if you have an eye drops prescription, be sure to stay on schedule with the eye drops.
Yes i am taking all my drops as instructed so all is good.
