Hi everyone!! I’ve just made this account a few days ago and I’m looking to change my username, I’ve emailed customer support but haven’t gotten any response, is there a way to do it myself or do I just need to wait?
Also, I keep seeing that some people have bios when you click on their profiles (for example it will feature their sexuality, relationship status, a short quote about themselves, etc) how can I add this to my own profile? Sorry if these questions are really obvious, I’m new to the site. Thanks in advance everyone ((:
To change your username, you need to do the following:
If you wish to change your username you can pop a request in to Customer Care by sending an email to customercare@lovehoney.co.uk.
Please include:
Your current username:
Your preferred new username:
Name:
Email:
DOB or Postcode:
Reason:
For the personal info, I can’t actually remember, it’s probably worth having a play around - click on your profile icon, then down at the bottom of the pop up should be a head type icon.
It’s been so long since I’ve changed mine someone else may be able to offer more specific help!
I think it’s a lot less obvious than it used to be how to change your bio… at least on my phone since the updates.
If you go to your preferences on your profile (the little cog wheel). It goes automatically to “Account” preferences but on the line which says, “Account”, you can scroll right (not obvious on my phone!!), you go past “Security” to “Profile” and it is here that you can edit your bio and select Relationship Status, Sexual Orientation, etc.
Mine is currently hidden from public view but if you want it visible to the forum (like @MsSubExperimenter 's is) you also need to scroll along to “Interface” in the same Preferences list and unclick, “Hide my public profile”
