Any advice on the best way to keep an anal douche nice and clean and prevent nasties inside when not used for a while?

It depends on which one you have, and the material it's made from, but I just remove the top and soak it in some hot (not boiling) soapy water.

I then let it try, then do it a second time for good measure. LH did a guide somewhere for best practices regarding cleaning your kit.

We have https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=952 and fill the bulb after use with warm water and a cap of detox (or similar). Leave for about 24hrs then rinse with hot water & air dry.

We fill ours with warm water, mixed with sex toy cleaner. Hold the end shut with a thumb and shake.. empty and repeat with clean water before leaving to air dry

Also do this!

I squirt in a bit of Dettol multi-surface cleaner followed by some hot water. Shake a bit then rinse a couple of times with clean water. Do it straight after use, and also before use if not been used for a few days.
