Clitoral Stimulators

With Christmas coming up and money getting a little tighter, I'd like some advise from someone that owns more than one of these reasonably new little gadgets:

We dont own a toy like this yet and I wonder is it as simple as, the more expensive the better?

By far the most used toy we have is a little 80mm bullet so should I go safe with this:

I always get something sexy to pop in her christmas stocking but with the kids getting older and wanting playstations and xboxes >.< I will only really be able do to one big purchase from LH until the new year and yes sadly £50+ is a big purchase atm :(

You can pick that first one up for £19.99 if you slap on your Unlimited voucher. We haven't used that one ourselves but it seems a cost effective way of testing the waters before buying a more expensive model.

I can't comment on the Satisfyers as I don't have one but I did do a fair bit of research into this myself when going through the same choice. I found that those that did have both a Satisfyer and a Womanizer said that if you could afford it then definitely go with the womanizer. I bought the W500 and have been more than happy with the choice. I do own the Lelo Sona too which is cheaper than the W500 but is just as effective but a bit more fiddly to get right. The Womanizer kinda rips orgasms out of you very quickly with little build up needed - so great to use when you just want a quick orgasm. Where as the Sona teases them out and they feel a bit more deeper and fulfilling to me.

The Tango I also have and it is still one of my favourite go to toys. It is a power house though so be aware that it can be too much for some women. It depends on what your missus prefers really on that one, if the answer is rumbly and powerful then yes I highly advise the Tango. Some prefer a silicone bullet but I personally like the finish on the tango.

Mrs Chimp is one of those that finds the plastic of the Tango too unforgiving on its own. It's certainly powerful and incredibly rumbly, but I've been sliding it into silicone sleeves from other toys to soften the texture so we can get some use out of it.

The Desire Bullet is widely recommended on here, and we find it about as powerful as the Tango but with a softer silicone skin. It plays havoc with Mrs Chimp's carpal tunnel though so it doesn't get whipped out as often as some others (I'm better with a wand or a rabbit if I'm the one holding it 🙂).

Hey trine, if you haven’t used the “£20 off” voucher yet then I would highly suggest the womanizer starlet, https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=39540 it’s the best purchase we have done and by far the most used toy. The satisfyers are great toys too but would stick to the starlet. You can always look at a wand or bullet vibe such as the “desire” bullet which is incredibly powerful.

That makes it sound like it's a one time deal. 🙂 You can use your £20 off a £40+ order as often as you like. 👍

I think I'm go with this one after hours of reading comments, this one has a lot of cons saying its loud. I know its hard to describe on a forum but how loud is it? I little louder than an 80mm bullet or alot louder?

Thanks for your time and suggestions peeps :)

Hi Trine, the starlet is certainly loader on its highest setting than that of any of our bullets on their highest setting. Just to throw another spanner in the works have you considered the Lelo Sona, it's about £2 more expensive than the Starlet at the moment but it has so many more features (it's waterproof, has more intensity levels and patterns). It is also larger in size which makes it easier for Mrs K&D's to hold during those crucial moments.

Its was in my basket and I was already to go then the Lelo Sona pops up lol.. Skimming the comments its also on the loud side :/ 55mins to power read the reviews before I leave work (I know my employer is lucky to have me >.<)

Thanks again x

Not going to lie they both have noise issues to be fair. The Sona is loader when not in contact with clit, the Starlet is the other way around.

Hey, I can vouch for the Satisfyer 1. I got it the other day after asking for everyones advice. Like has been said above, I used my £20 off a £40 spend voucher (as I do on all my orders) and it only cost me £19.99!!! Perfect as a little present that won't break the bank and a good opener to clitoral suction toys!

Yes though, it is a tad noisy but nothing off putting. You can find my review of it on my page.

We have tried most of the toys mentioned in this thread with the exception of the womanizer in the OP. The satisfyer 2 was our most used for a long long time, always getting chosen above the satisfyer 1 (we've used the whole range), which in our opinion is the least good of all the satisfyers..that was until we got the sona cruise - that little thing is an amazing toy that is completely justified in its high price point. The womanizer starlet is good at what it does, but is both a little too small and a little too lacking in functionality for us. We've only tried the original womanizer w100 and the starlet from their range but we prefer the satisfyer over womanizer generally and sona cruise over all.

How are those that got the amazing deal the other day getting on with their new Lelo? I can't tell the difference in terms of fucctionalilty from the cheaper Lelo Sona so I guess the only real difference is the battery. Seems silly it being so much more for just a 20% battery reserve as I don't think we could drain the battery in one session from a full charge anyway. Not going to complain though as it was a great deal and fantastic to have a spare.

The extra 20% battery reserve is to boost the motor if it senses you're holding it too tight to your body.

Specially developed by LELO and exclusive to SONA Cruise, Cruise Control is a feature that reserves 20% of SONA Cruise’s full power during normal use, so that when it’s pressed hard against the body and the motor begins to drop power, that extra 20% is unleashed so that there’s no reduction of intensity. It’s not a setting, it’s completely automatic, and it eliminates the single most common complaint against pleasure products.

So far Mrs Chimp has found it very pleasureable yet a little confusing. 🙂 More testing is required. I think it's meant to be used differently than the Womanizer? Whereas that likes a good seal to work effectively the Sona seems to like a bit of space to start and then gradually moved closer. Not sure on an actual technique yet though.

I love that the patterns sound like the music from megadrive games. 🙂

Ahh good shout Ian will let Mrs K&C know what to look out for. Yeah it does seem to like a bit of space. Thanks for putting the mega drive games in my head now I won't be able to get it out of my head the next time. I read someone's review that said the starlet sounds like an idling boat motor when it's first turned on and that's stuck in my head too.

There's one of them that sounds like I've got to a boss level on Streets of Rage. 🙂

We thought it was quite noisy when we put it in place but as the website says that it's supposed to be discreet we had a couple of goes at readjusting it and we did get it running a lot quieter. There's a bit of negotiation required to get the right 'contact' distance so it's not noisy but still close enough to feel. And I think the way we've used it so far has proved a bit overstimulating for Mrs Chimp as she can't go again afterwards. I think we've gone too powerful/too close too soon? It definitely does the business though. 🙂

And I really appreciate that they give the full specs for the toy. I wish more of them did.

Tried it, got the almighty leg trembles literally straight away, thought it was going to build up to something truly monumental then, well, nothing happened.

As you and Mr Chimp advised, more practise required.... just got my hopes up as it felt sooooo good from the get-go, I think I would feel less baffled if the whole experience had been a bit ‘meh’, rather than really intensely good but then going off the boil.....I have never had that happen before.

I've had the leg trembles, then... nothing. I've tried it quite a few times and found it very frustrating. I either take ages (for which I have no patience), or I get the leg trembles and nothing else.

I bought it under the old guarantee and should have sent it back, but it's such a nice toy that gets so many great reviews that I keep hoping it'll somehow one day work well for me.

I'm a fast finisher with the Tango, tongues or Starlet. Hanging around, waiting for something to happen does not ring my bell.

Reading this I feel really lucky, we really landed on out feet. We didnt need much practise, we fumbled about a bit, did the old nose test, lubed up and got it in the right place real quick.

Mrs Trine described is as a strange (but satisfying) feeling. It has no build up, its in place for <10 seconds and done. the thing is she'd normally be done for another week but she kept going back to it every few hours.. bed time, bath time, before work Monday morning.. I couldnt keep up, I'm like a zombie now.

I hope it stays like this and the novelty wont end by next weekend >.<

Weird the one I ended up with didnt even make my first list, glad mind!
