The best way we found was for my wife to straddle me in cowgirl fashion and press her clitoris against the vibrating part of the ring with very little up and down movement. That way she could control the position and the pressure to get the ideal contact.

I’ve used them before but don’t rate them too much.
You can only feel the benefits when you are in the right position with the tops half of your bodies, very close together.

I have found some really aren’t great, a lot of cheaper ones really don’t have much in the way of vibration power, aren’t a great shape and are often too flimsy to make a functional cock ring but the ones that work well, work really well.
By far the best we have is the Desire Cock Ring and as @rockstar says Cowgirl works really well and is normally my go to with this cock ring, basically any position though where she is grinding on you is the way to go. The broader surface on the Desire ring also works really well for me.

I’ve only used them a few times as they arnt strong enough for us but it’s definitely best in a cowgirl position like others have said. Sometimes they arnt for everyone just keep that in mind as all bodies are different.

@Lewisfjarrett what I do is we just use my bullet vibe while we are at it. He takes turns holding it there and then I do and so on. It makes it more intimate in my opinion. It might not be the option you were looking or hoping for but its another option incase they end up not working for you

Has anyone tried a vibrating cock ring that has the vibrating bit against the wearers perineum (under the balls, basically).Is there any chance that those kind of vibrations might travel and be felt by both parties?

With these sort of cock rings, you need constant contact for her to get the benefit of the vibrations.
As advised, cowgirl, and I find that missionary can work really well too, though you need to stay quite deep in her to keep the contact constant.

Well… it sorts of work for both parties… when I see what it does to her… I get something out of it too!!!
