Completing a return label question

Hi guys

I am having to return an item of lingerie because it doesn't fit the Mrs.

I have informed LH and they acknowledged my request by supplying me a link for a printed return label.

I havn't quite has time to do this at work yet but I did have a quick look at the link.

My question is at the top field of the label it asks for a tracking number.Is this left blank ?

Is that not usually where your order number would go? It's been a while though since I've returned something.

The return link I was sent asks for the box shape, the box size/weight then a few details. They want the order number, the reason for return then your address details (as a return address) and email. If it's the same page, then it's your order number you'll want to fill in not your tracking number :)

I did manage it and its not difficult, however you do need a printer as you will obviously need to print the label which I think has its own unique bar code .

One final question as I have never returned anything before .it does mention place in an envelope of which I have acquired a padded envelpe from work.

But is there any reason why it can't be returned in the box it came in, if I place the label over the orginal delivery label ?

I just think it would get back to LH in better condition .

I've always returned items to LH using their own brown boxes. In fact, I return items to their competitors using LH boxes too!!! :)

got away with that on more than one occasion and haven't been told off, so original box is fine!
